The best part about Shutter Island wasn’t an aged DiCaprio…’twas BUFFALO BILL and his ill-fitting military cap.  Even though he was sans-mangina in Scorcese’s new one, I appreciate an occasional surprise dose of Ted Levine. BTW, the man has aged well. I thought that by now he’d be a great big fat person. Silence of the Lambs is a favorite childhood movie of mine. One of my 3 Halloween costumes in ‘07 was Hannibal Lecter’s nurse, and—being an unrelenting perfectionista in matters of costumes and such—I stole a dolly in order to cart the bugger around New Haven all night.  I’d rather pull a bicep than have a shitty costume, durrr
